Animal Farm - George Orwell - 9º ano

Hello kiddos!!!
How u doin'??

Eric Arthur Blair was born in India, 1903. Since small, he received a very severe education, which made him a rebelious young man.
As an adult, he started working as soldier in the Indian Imperial Police which wasn't such pleasant job, since he had to deal with hard moments like execute people and things like that.
After quiting this job, he moved to Paris where he started working in a very poor situation, he got related to really humble workers, faced hunger, difficult living situations what made him develop a critical sight of high authorities.
Then, he came back to London where he met his future wife Eileen Spinster - with whom later he would adopt his sun, Richard Blair.
During Richard's young ages, Blair started a new journey where he had to witness the facist empowerment.
During this time we had many historical facts were going on: Hitler commanded the Nazi program, Mussolini bombed the city of Albercenina, but it was the Civil War that started in Spain against Francisco Franco's attempt to set facism in the country that caught Blair's attention and made him take part on it.
In one of this revolutinary days, Blair got shot in his neck - but he was able to overcome it.
After all this experiences, Blair went back to London -- which had just declared war against  the nazis - and started writing "Animal Farm" after a philosofical thought of "what happened if animals set forces against the men?".
But, just like happened in  the Russian Revolution, it's final is summarized is this self explained sentence:
"All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than the others."

For some reason, before the release of the book - which became a huge sucess, a really best-seller -  Blair thought that he wanted to preserv his parents reputation, so he choose George Orwell as his pseudonym. George because it was the name of the King - George IV) and Orwell which is the name of a river in Suffolk, England.

(King George VI)

(Orwell River)

A seguir, disponibilizarei o link de um filme de animação legendada em português de "A Revolução dos bichos" além do link de um vídeo que faz a análise completa de Animal Farm.
